Verbal Blog Mishap Due To Kidnapping and Vegas Recommendations

The momentary lapse in Verbal Blogs has been due to the kidnapping of my phone in Las Vegas during the 2011 Book Tour Las Vegas.

Other casualties included my Driver’s License, Debit Cards, Light-Up Lip Glosses and Reef brand Flip Flops complete with a bottle opener on the bottom.

Sometimes life hands us lemons.  When this happens to me, I like to refer to a little inspiration.

When life handed me a lemon, not only did I make lemonade, I also wrote the recipe and then sold that recipe!

The good news is the 2011 Book Tour Las Vegas was a HUGE success.

If you are planning a trip to Las Vegas in the near future, grand recommendations:

• Minus 5 Ice Bar at Mandalay Bay - Drink from real ice classes imported from New Zealand.
• Rice at Luxor - Sushi and Asian cuisine.  The food is brilliant.

I returned home to find the following note in response to finishing my novel, Befriending Death. It reads:
